Online Fax Review: eFax
eFax did not make it to our list of recommended online fax services. Compared with other fax companies, eFax is more expensive, yet offers a lower quantity of faxes with fewer features. They advertise that the plan includes 160 faxes per month, but only 30 of those allotted faxes can be outgoing faxes. Considering that most people sign up for fax services in order to send faxes, the 30 faxes per month limit is not a very attractive point.
eFax also lacks the bells and whistles that can be found with competitors such as RingCentral or MyFax, and is much pricier as well. We also discovered that they have had a high number of complaints from users, and have received a bad rating with the Better Business Bureau. Based on all of these factors, we'd advise staying clear of eFax.
